Rachel Cantave, assistant professor of international affairs, published "Pursuing Racial Order and Social Progress: Violence, Afrophobia and 鈥楻eligious Racism鈥 in Brazil" in .

Joowon Park, director of Asian studies and associate professor of anthropology, gave a book talk at the University of South Carolina. His book, 鈥淏elonging in a House Divided,鈥 was published by the University of California Press in 2023.

Kieron Sargeant, assistant professor of dance, was the choreographer for the University of Iowa Department of Theatre鈥檚 rendition of ",鈥 a play written by Tarell Alvin McCraney and directed by Caroline Clay. The show will open at Thayer Theatre on Friday, April 12.
