Evan Mack, senior teaching professor of music, and Joshua McGuire's awarding-winning opera, "The Ghosts of Gatsby," had its Pacific Northwest Premiere March 14 through 16. Southern Oregon University's Lyric Theatre held their inaugural opera performances of the piece this past week. All performances were sold out.

Pushkala Prasad, Zankel Professor of Management for Liberal Arts Students, presented a paper, "Superexploitation and the Racialized Working Body: Enduring Colored Global Divisions of Labor," at the annual meetings of the Eastern Sociological Society in Washington, D.C.
